When subjected to the increased loads encountered in a tuned engines working at higher than standard revs, connecting rod bolts can fail leaving you with an expensive repair bill.
ARP high performance con rod bolts are constructed from heat treated 8740 chrome moly steel which has a tensile strength of 200,000 psi and are proven to be almost 5 times more reliable than standard rod bolts.
Some engine applications are also available in the ARP pro series range which are suitable for highly tuned, very high revving race engines. Pro range bolts are made from a specialist material which has approximately 200% the fatigue life of ARP high performance bolts and offers tensile strength of 220,000 psi.
ARP connecting rod bolts are a must have addition to any performance engine, they may not offer you more power, but they could save you a lot of money and time by keeping your engine together.
